lekar jana bhool gaya,

Jane wala jaldi mein tha

mil kar jana bhool gaya,

Mur mur kar dekha tha usne

adhe raste mein,

Jaise usne kehna tha kuch

jo wo kehna bhool gaya,

Waqt-e-rukhsat meri ankhein

poch raha tha anchal se,

Usko gham tha itna ziada

khud wo rona bhool gaya.
